Kelly is a partner with Ritsema Law whose practice focuses on defense of carriers and employers in workers’ compensation cases in Colorado and Arizona. Kelly joined Ritsema Law in 2005. In 2011, Kelly expanded her practice to Arizona workers’ compensation and manages the firm’s Arizona practice group. She provides personalized attention to every client and values a teamwork approach to client relationships. Ms. Kruegel is a regular speaker at industry events including presentations for Continuing Legal Education (CLE), CDLA Seminar, Arizona Self Insured Association (ASIA), the Arizona Workers’ Compensation Conference, and the National Workers’ Compensation Defense Network (NWCDN). Kelly was named a Rising Star by Colorado Super Lawyers in 2010-2019.

In 2005 Kelly received her J.D. from Washington University in St. Louis School of Law. While at Washington University, she received numerous oral advocacy awards, including Best Oralist in the Nation at the Burton D. Wechsler moot court competition. Ms. Kruegel was awarded the Judge Amandus Brackman Moot Court Prize upon graduation from Washington University. Kelly graduated cum laude with bachelor degrees in communications and English from Truman State University. She is a member of the Colorado Bar Association and the Arizona Bar Association.
